Event: It’s JDM Yo! 1st Anniversary Meet v.3

.

The stragglers.  Leftover pictures that didn’t make it into an event post.  This is what you’ll get with the final It’s JDM Yo! event post.  Seriously, these events are getting so big that it’s near impossible to methodically post every car that was in attendance.  It’s too bad too because some really good builds go unnoticed sometimes.  Anyway, I’ve been working mad 12 hour shifts at work and haven’t had anytime to dedicate to the site in awhile.  I wanted to finish up with the final pictures before I go out of town once again.  With that said, on with the pics.

.

Infinit Wheels had some cool, old school Toyotas on display.  This panda caught my eye right away.  I like the exposed oil cooler.

.

I would love to eventually own a Levin coupe, and take my sweet ass time building it – really have fun with it.  I’ll have to stick to RC cars for now (I picked up an 86 coupe body for my drift build).

Here is a blurry picture of a clean hatchback.  Can’t say that I saw this at Eibach; or I’m just forgetting because I’ve seen so many cars this month.  I’m not sure how I feel about the half painted lip.  It seems like they wanted it painted, but still wanted everyone to know it was carbon.  I think I would have painted everything – even the duct.  I like the blue valve cover.

.

.

Another crappy picture of it.

.

.

I don’t like gold wheels.  Which is ironic because my car has them at the moment.  I think this is a clean 240, but, in my opinion, the wheels don’t match.  I’m going to say…silver RPF1′s would look about right.  This car reminds me that I need to call Addy.  His built SR is supposed to be getting a street tune today – going for 400+whp.

.

.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about this 350.  I waited for about 5 minutes squatting in the corner for some dude to get out of the way of my shot just because I wasn’t sure how I felt about it.  I thought I could look at the photo later and come to a conclusion, but I’m still on the fence.  I’d say, as a show car, it’s pretty cool.

.

.

I wish this wasn’t blurry.  This color is amazing.  I think there was an R35 this color in the same room as well.

.

.

Narita Dog spent the day scoping the models with Domo.

.

.

Remember this from JCCS 2010?  86 with the F-series swap.  The bay has gotten a lot cleaner since then.  The owner is still keeping it real…real orange.

This Lot USA built Evo was awesome.  I think it might have been rocking every Monster product in the catalog.  Even down to the wheels.

Lemon-lime S14

.

.

An over-the-top 8th gen. civic.  Looks like a ton of custom body work.

.

.

This C10 was drawing an amazing amount of people.  I swear for like 10 minutes I couldn’t even see a body panel in it’s entirety.  Eventually most of the crowd moved on…but not this guy.  I figured this was the best I could do – I was trying to shoot with a 50mm at the peak show time.

.

.

A peek inside the Hakosuka.

.

.

This pretty cool race prepped S15 was parked next to a sweet MK3.  I failed to get whole shots of both.

.

.

On the way back to the car, it seemed more cars were filling in the outside lot spaces.  This coupe was pretty neat.  I don’t really like the wheels though.

.

.

This EG was parked in front of us.  I fell in love with it instantly.  I’m curious as to what engine it has.

.

.

And just to throw a little twist into it, I’ll post this new 3 series.  Simple and clean.  Hope you enjoyed the coverage.  I would love to tell you that I’ll be at Wekfest, but as of right now, I’m set to work at 5am.  I’ll see what I can do about that.
