Encounter: Lonely MM:21 R32

.

I stumbled upon this lonely Skyline during a walk one morning.  The hotel we had been staying out was very close to Sakuragicho Station, which is in the みなとみらい21 (Minato Mirai) area;  a large urban development by the water.  This place is famous for many things, including Japan’s former largest building the Landmark Tower.  This morning we were walking along the Red Brick Warehouse and saw this guy sitting all by itself in a parking lot.

The owner had swapped the R32 wheels for those from a R34.  It was lowered, but just slightly, giving it a nice aggressive look.  The body work was flawless, and it looked like it still had the OEM paint.

You’ve got to love the lines of the 32.

The exterior remained relatively stock, aside from the OEM lip kit and the newer-gen wheels.  The interior was also quite subtle, boasting an array of gauges and a large tachometer, giving one the impression of a highly modified engine, without the race car look.  I really liked the modest look of the car.  A nice change from all the raced out Skylines.
