Alright, I got the last set of pics ready from JCCS. This RHD Crown definitely fit the bill for bosozoku styling. If you’re into that, check out Bosozoku Style for more hot shit <—
.
Another of the Sparkle Garage cars that was on show. This Corolla was one of many in the Corolla section.
.
A couple manufactures had booths, and trucks at the event. Mazda had brought out this time-attack roadster for display.
.
Complete with a Cosworth built power plant. This isn’t the only time-attack car I’ve seen with a Cosworth engine. I believe the Sierra-Sierra Evo that went up against the greatest in Australia for the WTAC had a Cosworth built engine as well.
.
Start with the best street cars, and end up with the best race cars. A slogan of Mazda’s I hear every other weekend when watching F1 on Speed. There is some truth to it though. This sedan was also on display at Mazda, looking pretty racy.
.
The interior stuck with the theme of the outside as well. Nothing unnecessary in here.
.
Continuing through the Mazda setup we see a few cars that actually belong here at JCCS.
.
.
Another blend of new and old school trends. This 510 was sporting a set of polished CCW’s, and had some cool pin-striping throughout the car.
.
You can see a bit of the striping on the firewall.
.
Mike Garrett at Speedhunters put up a cool post highlighting the wheels at JCCS. These in particular caught my eye, as I am a sucker for Hayashi Racing. These looked nicely restored.
.
One of the cleanest bays in the 510 section, and maybe of the whole show. I’ll let you guess what engine he’s rocking.
.
Cressida, Cressida, all in a row. I’m running out of F@*king captions…..
.
This Bluebird was drawing a lot of attention. Maybe because of the massive Volk RE30’s it was sitting on.
.
So I promised more shots of this hatch, and I shall deliver. I saw this guy’s build up on Zip Tied awhile ago, and was surprised to see it at the show (follow that link to see his build thread). This thing was pretty rad.
.
Gotta love the Equip-01’s.
.
A nicely presented bay wraps up the whole Sprinter package.
.
I would come to this show to see this car alone; that’s how nice it is. Hakosuka’s are probably one of my all time favorite Japanese cars. This one in particular was brought out by Shinzo Auto Service in Irvine. I thought that this Skyline, as well as the other one I showed in my first post, were the only two at the show. I suppose I was wrong though.
.
As I was leaving I spotted this one, wearing an awesomely retro paint scheme. It’s parking lot neighbor was also a Skyline.
.
.
That’s it from JCCS 2010. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. I have one more old school surprise for you yet to be posted, so stay tuned.
