Event: Cerritos Honda Toy Drive & Car Show V.2

.

In the continuing coverage from Sunday’s toy drive & car show at Cerritos Honda, we’ll check out all the other great entrants; like the immaculate RyWire CRX.  I recognized a handful of So-Cal regulars, but was happy to see some new builds as well.  Click past the break for more.

.

You can see some more of that bright morning sun shine down on the side of this K-powered coupe.  I saw this 5th gen at Nisei and was blown away.

.

.

The paint in the bay still looked wet.

.

.

Big Mike’s Prelude legend.

.

.

One of the craziest bays in the Honda scene for sure.  I love that sea foam-ish green color too.

.

.

One of the only 3 Preludes there I believe.  This one was tastefully modded.  Honda did the OEM lip kit right for this model.

.

.

Like a pack of Skittles, these old school Hondas split up the lot.

.

.

I think this might have been the only 99-00 6th gen. coupe at the show.  Looking at coupe like this make me want to get off my ass and go work on mine.

.

.

A closer look at the B in the bay.  He was rocking a BUILT reservoir sleeve!  If you have a few seconds, check out BUILT and order some sweet swag.

.

.

Excellent CG build!  I think it would look perfect resprayed in Championship White.

.

.

Contrasted out CL9; looks comfy.

.

.

The only Fit at the show?  It was on some 949’s; a wheel that’s growing in popularity by the minute.

.

.

Socalcivic.com coupe.  I’ve met him before at a SCC meet; I want to say his name is John.  I could be wrong.  If you see this post up!  Coupe is looking good.

.

.

This EG looked pretty racy.  Looks like many cars were on the Enkeis at this show.

.

.

This LE CR-X was pretty true to form, and was one of the most legit at the show.  It was rocking a ton of hard to find OEM parts.

.

.

RHD too!

.

.

Here is a conversion you don’t see too often.  I remember when Domani conversions were popular, but you never really saw Orthia conversions.  For those not sure, an Orthia is a small station wagon Honda released in Japan based on the 6th gen. civics.  They came in both B18B or 2 liter versions.

.

.

This super clean CRX gathered a lot of attention.

.

.

Gram Light 57S

.

.

Eibach and Honda Tuning/Evasive had their CR-Z’s showing.  With word of their being a Type-R, non-hybrid version in the works, I wonder if they will start developing new parts?  I’ll have a little feature on the Honda Tuning CR-Z soon.

.

.

This Integra had a lot of EDM parts on it.  Peep the front bumper light.

.

.

Fizzy green supercharged Integra.

.

.

Fizzy green Integra’s turbocharged cousin.  I was really digging this one….

.

.

… and knew why when I saw the license plate.  We share the same love, haha.  That’ll do it for the show coverage.  Check back soon for a few spotlights from some of the cars at the show.
