Due to some unforeseen trouble with my own car (i.e. broken driver side knuckle), it took me a little bit longer than expected to get this second part up; sorry ‘y’all. In the last post, I mentioned a little bit about the breakdown of classes and regulations for the Circuit Challenge. So for this one I’ll just let the pictures do the talking. I really like this shot, with the CR in the background. As I was taking a second look through some of the shots, I noticed a few EK chassis that were worth putting up. Check um’ out past the break.
Here is one of those EK’s I mentioned. Kudos to those who can identify that front bumper (maybe the rear as well?) Exiting the hard right hander being chased by another EK, and a Prelude. The BB6 actually posted a really fast time – 00:49.949! I was quite surprised.
.
Here is a closer look of that one EK9 in chase. Is that a replica Mugen lip? =X
.
Check this one out! This is my style for sure. Aggressive canards, reverse staggered wheels and on the track! AND it’s being chased by a four door Integra. I love this shot. Did you notice the custom vent in the hood on the driver’s side?
.
Electon Blue Pearl?! Cover up the back half and you’d think this was an EM1. He even has the DOHC VTEC stickers. Nice! Not down with the hatch mid-wing though…
.
OK that’s enough EK’s for now. Let’s take a stroll through the parking lot/pits. This RSX *ahem* excuse me, Integra, was rocking some nice parts. Could use a suspension upgrade though…
.
Over a few spots the Honda madness continues. The FD chassis looks super popular these days.
.
That’s a pretty aggressive line-up right there. I love the AP on the gold Gram Lights. If it had an OEM lip it would be perfect! I am also in love with that 4 door with the massive GT wing on Buddy Clubs in the background. Not too mention the CR-Z on Volks in the foreground. Awesome!
.
ホンダ インテグラ DC5 tire pressure action! Excitement!
.
Back out on track this Accord wagon was ripping it up. Did someone say family track day?
.
Here is a shot of the Seeker FD. I’ve been meaning to visit Seeker for years now, but for some reason I never get around to it. I’ll have to put it on my ‘must do’ list.
.
The Mugen CR-Z.
.
The Mugen FD2 and FN2 – two very different version of the Type-R.
.
That’s it for the 2011 Mugen Circuit Challenge! Hope you enjoyed the track action. Be sure to check out JDM Clips soon for some video footage from Tsukuba!

No shots of the BB6? I’m disappointed ={
