RC Lounge: Geek’n Out Nissans

.

Chris and I had a few hours to kill the other day, so we set out in search of good areas around town to run the cars.  This parking lot near the airport was good; the asphalt wasn’t that rough, and because it was practically empty, gave us plenty of space.  I set down a few markers to create a makeshift track and after we ran for awhile I snapped a few shots.

Chris picked up this S15 body to replace his E90 that he cracked pretty good while drifting.  He’s got Work XSA’s in the front and a wider set of Gram Lights in the back.  The E90 has turned into a missle now – I’ll get some pics up of it later.

I bent one of my front wheels so I threw the stock BBS back on up front.  I also trimmed out some of the front bumper to allow a little more airflow.

I need to position my antenna better.

The second course I made in the background.  A short course for sure – more for drifting and less for driving around.

A shot of my new heat sink.  Getting ready to order the GT Tuned motor with replaceable brushes.  I drove a brushless HPI kit last week and decided that it is way too fast for me to enjoy.  Hope you enjoy these RC posts, I’m off to install my new adjustable upper arms.
