I've always felt that personal creativity is something that flows inline with our emotions; sort of always in this battle for consistency. For me, the highs are high, and the lows are low - I've never really found that middle ground. When I'm firing on all cylinders things seem to come together almost effortlessly. On the flipside, during the lows I'll be in my head for hours trying to find an original thought, and end up spending days on projects that just end up getting scrapped. When that happens I'll typically stop after a week or so, surrendering to my lack of imagination, and look for motivation elsewhere. I think it would be interesting to get everyone's take on motivation and where you look to find it?
