Welcome back to the second post of our MOD coverage. I’ll start of the next batch of pictures with this LOT built EVO IX. I remember seeing this at the It’s JDM Yo! Anniversary meet, but couldn’t grab a good shot of it. I’m glad I got to see it again at this meet, as it is a very well put together car. Click past the break to see a few more EVO’s.
.
A shot of the D-Sport booth. Thought I’d throw this in for kicks. You can see their EVO to the left.
.
Another shot of it from the rear. Possibly one of the most well put together cars at the meet.
.
Mitsubishi brought out Andrew Picard’s actual Rally Spec X for show. I didn’t see many people checking it out though. Strange because any rally build is insane.
.
Someone showing off their used Toyo R-Compounds.
.
Carbonetic had a booth that displayed various carbon clutches. Across USA is actually located in Carson, I should stop by and see if there is anything cool at their showroom/shop.
.
Stoptech’s EVO X on Volks. I like the look of the X’s front bumper with a splitter attached. Although nothing beats an EVO IX with full Voltex aero.
.
I remember seeing this at Wekfest LA. Still looking good on the fresh orange TE’s.
.
Road Race brought out their Dyna Pack for some AWD Dyno pull awesomeness. I have no idea what kind of numbers this EVO was putting down, but it was loud as hell. It had a wicked backfire that scared the shit out of everyone around it too.
.
I think Tomei had the coolest booth out of all the vendors. They had their ARMS equipped X on display…
.
The Tomei EVO X engine bay.
.
A shot of the turbos that were on display from their ARMS line.
.
If you didn’t know, Tomei is in the business of building engines – SR20’s, RB26’s, 4G’s, you name it. And they build them damn good too. So good in fact, a Genesis RB26 will run you over $30,000. Don’t believe me? Check out Allens’s blog from Tomei Japan. Actually, just click here for a breakdown of their Advanced and Genesis Spec engines.
.
I’ll end with this Evasive Motorsports EVO X. I’m going to get some dinner. For some awesome coverage of MOD, check out the Night-Import blog. Be sure to check back tomorrow for coverage of the Skyline Festival from Japan.
