Welcome back to the second part of the R’s Meeting coverage from Fuji. I’m considering this a remote post because I’m actually not at home right now. If you’re a regular follower you’ll have seen my post about my computer crashing; so I flew to Oakland to get some software from my friend in Hayward. While I’m here I thought I may as well post up the second part of the Skyline madness. Remember we have a facebook page now – be sure to friend up on the side bar. Cheers!
The famous red Tommy Kaira built R35 was prominently on display in vendors section. Gotta love the flavored carbon sprinkled around the body.
This time it had a friend to hang out with.
Motorsport celebrity and resident shit talker Tarzan was on hand to add witty commentary throughout the day I would imagine.
Here is something you don’t see too much of these days; a Veilside kitted Skyline, and a R33 at that. I’m not to sure what to think about this, but seeing as how it is a Pit Road built Skyline and in the RH9 club, I’m sure that it’s speed makes up for its questionable appearance.
G-Force carbon dressed R35.
A well built ATTKD R34 was on display at the Rays booth.
A look at the various vendors – Cockpit, Endless, and Bride all had various R’s on show.
The Mine’s R35 gathered much attention.
Tuning guru Mr. MCR was on hand himself for impromptu photoshoots with the fans.
Omori Factory had one of the sweetest R34’s I believe; with a paint matched valve cover and intake manifold. Check out the size of that strut bar.
A shot from the rear. I really enjoyed this car.
It’s like we’re at a Nissan dealership!
The Polyphony Digital GT car.
A lineup of the R32 touring cars. Can you tell if they are replicas?
Top Secret R34. I’m not sure why, but the rear tires look very skinny.
A few shots of the parking lot shows that the meet went well beyond the show grounds – as most attendees drove Skylines themselves.
That’s it from the R’s Meeting at Fuji Speedway. Sorry it took so long to get the last post up, I will try to fix my computer as soon as I can. In the meantime be sure to check out JDM Clips for videos of the event! Thanks for visiting.
