Event: AutoCon 2011 v.2

.

A little late, but it’s time for round 2 of AutoCon coverage.  Let’s kick it off with this shot of Big Mike’s Prelude.   The front fascia is now equipped with a molded Chargespeed lip.  It looks a bit more aggressive than his previous setup, especially without the bumper lights; I really like it.  The newly coated black Volks add to the upgraded look.  Click past the break to see more of the show!

A few up close shots of some changes to the Prelude.

Menacing looking FD with a clean engine bay.  I’m not sure what wheels those are though…

Track ready 4 door on Volk SL’s.

Not track ready, but cruise ready, Y34 Cedric.  Y34 was the tenth generation, and from what I read on forms, there seems to be a lot of confusion between the Y chassis names.

Car Tuned Suzuka Blue S2000.  Aside from the roll call on the front fender, this was one of my favorite cars at the show.  I love that front bumper and engine setup.  I’ve always disliked Enkei’s RPF1 center caps though…

No 1980’s British Rock, New Romantic Movement, Boy George song reference for this 350.  Shit was low though…

Pretty good looking TSX.  I think they should paint match the front lip.

Pretty green looking S2000 with a huge blotch of sun all over the front.

EVO X with Tomei goodies.  I wonder if Allen knows anything of this build?  OK, I just tried to go to Tomei Powered’s blog which Allen runs, and it’s saying it’s a reported mal-ware page.  Strange?

There was a nice selection of VIP rides sprinkled around the show.  It’s becoming a very popular style in the US.

I’ll wrap up this post with this flawless K-swapped bay.  I don’t know the owner personally, but I think his name is David.  It’s usually parked near the Chronicles booth at shows.  I like the steel chrome colored valve cover a lot.  I think I have enough photos for one more post from Auto Connection 2011; if not, you can count on some Nismo Festival shots later tonight.  Thanks for visiting.
