I told myself a few days ago that I would start working on the new website again, seriously this time. I got a little discouraged when my desktop crashed and had to redo everything on my laptop, as a result I stopped for a few weeks. Now, after I went back this week and reviewed the new layout, it’s honestly not what I want. So…last night, I deleted everything off my FTP and am starting over. After I did that I kind of had a ‘fuck it’ moment and left the house. I went to eat Pho with Anny, then cruised over to Tea Station to meet up with Yuta and Allan. I tried working on the site there, but we just ended up watching drift and kanjo videos and wondering why we weren’t in Japan; we took off around midnight. On my way back home I was forced onto the 405N due to construction, so I figured I would run the last half of the circuit loop. It was nice because there was hardly any traffic – weekdays are usually the best. On the last off ramp though, I got a little close to the railing, and I’m not sure what it hit, but my mirror hit something. I thought it broke off completely, but when I parked it was still there. Bent, but still there. I related the condition of my mirror to my feelings of Narita Dog Fight. It’s here, but it seems a little off at the moment. Not quite where I want it to be yet, but getting there. I’m glad I made up my mind to restart the new site. There are a few key things I can’t make my mind up on that are holding me back, but I’m pretty determined to finish it now. I’m shooting for a launch date of mid-October and will have a couple cool things lined up for the release. A couple neat collaborations, new vinyl designs, and a few giveaways. That date should coincide nicely with my next trip to Japan. Until then, enjoy the updates and thanks for visiting. Oh, here’s a picture of my damaged mirror. Not bad.
