I am very happy (and excited), to announce that we will be returning to Umihotaru PA this November for another gathering of friends and car lovers. Just like last year, we’ve made a Facebook page for the event, and I’ll be updating it with information as the date gets closer. It actually seems a little redundant to announce this on site as most attendees live in Japan, but there were a good amount of foreigners that made it out last year, and I think it will be the same situation this year. It really boosts me up to see so many people state side want to make the trip out to Japan to catch this meeting. I have a feeling this year will be quite a bit larger than last; and last year we had near 100 cars.
For more information be sure to subscribe to the event feed – I have a few special things planned for this year, so stay tuned!
Also, continuing the theme of Winter Cafe, we’ve also released a 2014 limited edition decal commemorating the gathering. These will be handed out to the attendees, and then later available on site if you’d like to purchase one. The simple design carries through this year in the form of an even more minimalistic design focused around the concept of the ‘Ensō’. The Ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void). It is characterized by a minimalism born of Japanese aesthetics.
I can’t wait to see everyone in November!
