A couple scattered shots of a few of Rie’s sets at Nikko Circuit. The 500ps RB26 has no problems getting her ER34 sideways. Staging for another run.
It was bad news to hear about the Kazama D1 car getting stolen just prior to this event, but good to see that the team doesn’t give up so easily. Regardless of the bad […]
Since I won’t be back in Japan for about another month, I figured I’d start posting some more of the D1SL content I have that has been ignored for awhile. My friend セキネイ and I […]
Andy from Power Vehicles Ebisu running at Nikko for D1SL. I really like the livery on his cars ~
Team FUNKY with Attractive PS13 showcasing D-Max style at Nikko. Driven by Mr. クサバ ユウスケ with high spirit. I have a lot of content I never posted from this event, so I think […]
I was first introduced to this car last time I was at Nikko Circuit for D1SL. The driver, Mitsuru Murakami, is a SEED driver for the Street Legal series; unfortunately, he had some mechanical problems […]
I thought that this shot of Mr. ハマダ キヨフミ and his ECR33 was pretty cool. Garage Dual was tearing it up last time at Nikko – click for a higher res shot.
This is one S chassis that I haven’t seen too much of until last month’s D1SL round in Nikko. It’s actually quite different than what we’re used to seeing. I find the reference to American […]
One of the cars I enjoyed watching most at this past round of D1SL at Nikko was this GP Sports 180SX. The car is driven by コウノ シオン (Kohno Shion) who you may remember by […]
This morning Sekinei and I made the long trip from Tokyo out to Nikko Circuit to check out D1SL Qualifying. We were both quite tired from staying up all last night messing around on […]
. D1 Street Legal showing @ Tokyo Auto Salon 2012; Taka built, D1SL champion Silvia. Help me out here – was it Tanaka that drove this last year? I love D-Max kits; especially on coupes. […]
Sure, we all know Naoki’s purple/pink S13 coupe, but some aren’t as familiar with the S15 he was to drive in D1. This purpose built drift machine was fully race spec, and just as crazy looking as the older coupe. I wonder if he will be driving it in the new series,‘The Drift Muscle’? Check out the pics.
I like Team Burst. You probably like them too. I’d even venture to say that out of all the organized drift ‘teams’ in Japan, that Team Burst is the most recognized. This is largely due in part to Naoki Nakamura’s drift skill and media attention; whether it’s wanted or not. I’m sure that you’ve heard by now all the recent news that has surrounded Naoki, but if you haven’t click here, and then here. With that in mind, I thought it would be cool to do a little spotlight on the cars he drives in regularly, and for D1SL. I shot these on the last day of TAS, and you can see that the D1 banners have been removed already. Click past the break for the gallery.
. *Taken from 7tune – FYI 7tune is a super legit blog, def. check them out if you haven’t yet. News comes to us from the international staff at Tomei Powered in Machida that Naoki […]
