One late night this summer, I met up with Dai-chan to grab a coffee and snap some impromptu photos around Omotesando and Harajuku. After chatting a bit over coffee, we made the quick trip over to the Takeshita area of Harajuku to hopefully take advantage of the storefront lights. I travel around Japan so much that I never have a tripod with me; they’re just too bulky and annoying for me. This was the first time shooting with the Z7II in extremely dark conditions so I didn’t really know what to expect as I shot with the ISO pushed to above 4000. It was fun getting to photograph another car in the city, but being unfamiliar with the area made me a bit apprehensive on composition. I don’t shoot much at night so it was a good learning experience.
I know the site has been fairly slow over summer, as to be expected by now, but we’re looking forward to getting things started towards the end of next month for the start of Attack season. Thanks for hanging in there over the off season!
