Yuki has been building his FD for over a decade now. What started off as a street car powered by a wildly engineered 4 rotor engine, slowly evolved into the dedicated circuit car we get to experience today.
The heart of the RX7 lies in the Scoot Sports built, peripheral ported 26B motor. Scoot employed the use of new RX-8 rotor housings paired with a custom made eccentric shaft coming from a company in Australia. Scoot made a one-off intake manifold by using TODA Racing AP1 individual throttles, a custom exhaust manifold, and side exit stainless exhaust. Fuel is delivered via 3 separate Bosch fuel pumps and 8 SARD injectors; 4 600cc primaries, and 4 800cc secondaries. The whole setup is tuned to make an incredible 600 naturally aspirated ps and revs to an ear bleeding 9,500 RPM.
